Using bike messengers helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions, takes up less space on streets than motor vehicles, and provides an efficient, fast and cost effective service.
Chicago is home to 17 bike messenger companies whose 300 bikers make an estimated 1.1 million deliveries each year. Bike messengers provide a valuable service by delivering material in a timely and an environmentally-friendly manner.
FREE breakfasts will be provided to bike messengers to recognize their hard work and dedicated service at the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph.
