I got this
early 2oth century Bukhara saddle cover
on eBay.

Obviously,
bikes made it all the way to Samarkand ...

and local carpet makers wanted to
fancy up their customers' rides.

This rather specific art form isn't all that rare.
These last two examples
were produced by the Turkoman in Iraq ...

and in Waziristan in Pakistan.
